Fried Cabbage

Ingredients:

  • 1 head of cabbage, chopped

  • ½ c butter

  • 1 yellow onion, thinly sliced

  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp Cajun seasoning

  • ½ tbsp salt

  • Olive oil

Directions:

  1. In a large pan, melt the butter over low-medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 2-3 minutes.

  2. Add the cabbage and a drizzle of olive oil. Add the seasonings and stir to combine.

  3. Cover for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  4. Uncover for another 10 minutes. Taste and add more seasoning if needed.
